Researchers Deceived
Scholars published their research in clone Journal
Shams | Pakistan | Researchers Deceived
Knowledge is a wealth which brings a foolish person out of the darkness of ignorance and makes him a part of the enlightened world of understanding, thinking, positive criticism and spreading knowledge. Indeed, it makes a dead, insensitive, and indifferent society, such a bright and prosperous one that it lives and shines for the rest of the world, and if the same education, if does not reach the people, according to their mental standards and if there are any obstacles in achieving it, it becomes difficult to get education. But those who break these barriers and reach their destination then rule the world.
One of the obstacles they
face is the attainment of higher education which cannot be achieved by a
low-income earner and more those whose income is better, i.e., those who have a
good income to some extent can hardly get higher education. Very few of the
ratios are of students who can get
scholarships. When you are pursuing higher studies or you see someone studying
in a university, then surely you must have been involved in the name of
research. The student research on a specific topic in his / her expert essay
and draws conclusions from the spirit of the results he / she seeks. Because
the research process has grown so much in recent times, it has become difficult
for a student to find a unique and a topic that has not been worked on before.
That's why students download a paper on a topic from a popular journal and
apply the results they find to the data they are interested in. It is important
to keep in mind that this statistic may be somewhat different from the
reference paper and its known results may be applicable elsewhere.
In
view of this trend, it has recently come to light that the papers of
students working on research in Pakistan turned out to be fake. Since 2019,
about 150 papers by more than 400 Pakistani researchers have been
published in a clone journal. The clone journal is called the International
Journal of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. The name of the eminent
journal. It was further observed that the researchers who published their
papers in this institute were aware of this and the papers which they published
were taken from different types of papers which had the same author, authorized
by a senior journal never gives.
Furthermore,
those who have been publishing their papers, using the Journal Recognition
System on the website of the Higher Education Commission, whether they assured
that the journal in which they are going to publish their work have the International
Standard Number (ISSN) or not because if the journal you verify, in the HEC's
Journal Recognition System (HJRS), it will tell you the name of the journal,
the name of the publisher and the status, and more. Moreover, whether the journal
is listed in world's leading global agencies.

On
the other hand, the International Journal of Disaster Recovery and Business
Continuity has blinded the people. For example, a journal whose name appears in
the HEC's Journal Recognition System, or any other name, will have a different
name in the International Journal of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
IJDRBC's style of deceiving people is also different. According to The News,
the journal was first published by the Science and Engineering Research Support
Society, but was later bought by another organization, NADIA. Both companies
are in Australia. Surprisingly, when an organization has sold its journal to
another organization, why is the same company publishing it with the same (ISSN)
number.
Since
NADIA now owns the International Journal of Disaster Recovery and Business
Continuity and currently its editor and chief belong to the University of
Split, Croatia, its ISSN is 2005-4289 for print and 2207-6425 for online.
Surprisingly, the IJDRBC that was taken from SERSC did not remove its name from
its website. This means that SERSC still acknowledges this journal and
publishes it monthly. Which makes it clear that JDRBC is a clone journal
because when this journal is taken over by NADIA and publishes it, on the other
hand SERSC using the same journal which is no longer belongs to it and its
Publishing is beyond comprehension. SERSC is still using the same ISSN number
that NADIA is using. Numbers should not be the same. Which means that SERSC
deceive academicians, It's as if a journal that no longer owns by SERSC is
still using it.
